³⁹ Are not the rest of the deeds of Ahab and all that he did, the ivory house and all of the cities that he built, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel? ⁴⁰ Ahab slept with his fathers, and Ahaziah, his son, reigned in his stead.

⁴¹ Jehoshaphat’s Reign. Jehoshaphat, the king of Judah, began to reign during the fourth year of the reign of Ahab, the king of Israel.
